The case, which has been dragging in court for 10 years, culminated in the High Court's ruling, which asked him to pay the child maintenance after a first DNA test showed he was the father.

The mother of the child had alleged that the doctor was her baby's father, but the man vehemently denied it, insisting the child was sired by his colleague.

When the first DNA was done, which proved he is the father, he demanded another test.
Justice Teresiah Matheka regretted the case had dragged in court for a decade, yet the minor's welfare was at stake.
This publication reports that the national examinations will kick off on November 28, 2022, and marking will follow immediately.
This was according to a statement by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, who said the results will be released by January 23, 2023.
While speaking at Kerugoya Catholic Church Grounds, Magoha urged teachers marking the examinations to put their best foot forward, further promising they will be paid on time.
Magoha, in what seemed like his farewell message, also lauded President William Ruto for forming a task force to review the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) instead of scrapping it off entirely.
