Fable: The Vision Which Failed – Electronics Weekly

In 2014 the then third richest man in the world said:
“We are all focused on this unbelievable opportunity to be the one big company, the one big company with all the resources to make this transition to the cloud and become the leader in that next generation of computing. It’s an opportunity we are all focused on and we are not going to miss it.”
Well the company made it to eighth spot in the top ten of cloud infrastructure vendors.
Moral: Coming in 8th in the world ain’t bad

By the way according to Investopedia Ellison, today, is the world’s 10th richest (https://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/012715/5-richest-people-world.asp)
