The dailies also touched on the mysterious death of lawyer Paul Gicheru who was under trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) over witness tampering.
The daily reported that lawyer Gicheru spent his last hours drinking wine at his Karen home in Nairobi before his wife found him unresponsive on Monday, September 26.
This is the only thing that the police, his family and lawyer agree on about how the lawyer spent his last moments.

Paul Gicheru’s Mum Discloses She Learnt of Son’s Death Through Neighbour
In the wake of his mysterious death, the inconsistency between what the police, his family and his lawyer are saying is raising questions as to what exactly happened to Gicheru.
An initial report by the police said that it’s Gicheru’s 20-year-old son, Allan, who, on finding his father unconscious, told his mother Ruth Nyambura that Gicheru “had taken something and upon checking on him upstairs, he was found unconscious”.
In another report, police differed on how Gicheru was discovered unconscious.
According to the press release, the lawyer spent the whole of Monday afternoon at his home hosting his son and father-in-law, who left at about 3.30 pm.
What is creating confusion is how the police can give two different explanations about who between Gicheru’s wife and son discovered him unconscious.

Also, Gicheru’s mother, Josephine Wambui, insisted that her son was in very good health but his lawyer John Khaminwa said he appeared stressed during his last days.
The publication reported that questions have arisen about the integrity of some of the nominees Ruto picked for his Cabinet.
Some of the 22 men and women Cabinet Secretaries nominees are facing criminal charges.
Azimio la Umoja has given an indication of rejecting some of the nominees when the names will be tabled in Parliament for approval.
Public Service nominee Aisha Jumwa and her Agriculture counterpart Mithika Linturi have been arraigned for various offences.
The paper reported that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua made a U-turn over his reported proposal to return the Shamba System, saying he was misquoted.
On Saturday last week, Gachagua said the government was considering allowing farmers to use forests to boost food production.

Speaking during the official opening of the Nairobi Trade Fair at the Jamhuri ground on Wednesday, the DP accused the media of misquoting him.
Azimio-One Kenya's unsuccessful presidential candidate in the August 9 polls, Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua scoffed at the full Supreme Court judgment, which they termed as 'hot air' and lacking jurisprudential value.
The duo broke their silence after the Supreme Court rendered its full judgement on Monday, saying the apex court's reasoning lacks integrity in both facts and law and is not grounded in any discernable logic.
Raila and Karua charged that the court failed to satisfy the basic requirements of a fair trial.
The daily reported that Kenyans are set to enjoy cheaper Fuliza costs even as Ruto told the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to fast-track removal of about four million individuals negatively listed on Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB) for defaulting on loan repayments.
